I'm on the lookout for textbooks for my classes for next semester. If I can friends on campus (or soon to be on campus) who are interested in selling their copy to me, I'd be happy to pay a fair market price in cash. I'm looking for books for the following classes:

• Intro to Cognitive Science
• Operating Systems
• Language Theory/Computation
• Advanced Japanese

New blog post at Bits 'N Knits!

(Yes, I'm a shameless cross-poster.)

I have a preliminary phone interview for an internship in Oakland on Wednesday. So exciting! ^_^

In other news, I don't think I'd seen The Wizard of Oz since I was very small and we had a tape we'd recorded from a tv broadcast. Sadly, my dad taped over my Wizard of Oz tape with a hockey game, so it's been a while. The lack-of-watching, though, has since been rectified.

I discovered this evening that the best way to get ideas for what to write about for my Japanese presentation next week is to search Reddit.com for Japan, and see what piques my interest. I am now going to present to my class the major differences between electronics cultures in America and Japan. The big one is that in America, a person's main computing device is a personal computer. In Japan, it is more likely to be a cell phone. Fun fact.

Also, the w key on my keyboard is starting to stick. Grah!

Rather than study for my Japanese test tomorrow, I redesigned my blog, Bits 'n Knits. I think it looks much spiffier than it did with the prepackaged layout I'd been using before.

Spring break! Aaah! Gotta pack tomorrow!

I will do science to it!

Also, all our games are rated D for Delicious and someone wanted to talk to the goat.

New development: I have a blog!

Bits 'n Knits

This will be a place where I post on projects I'm working on. Because almost all my projects are either craft or programming oriented, the name seemed appropriate. This is also a way to spur myself to actually work on these things. I hope people might take a peek around, and maybe even subscribe to my rss. ^_^
